Coolpix 4300 problem (1 Viewer)

Not sure if anyone can help with this but.............using a friends PC to adjust a picture whilst on hols I then downloaded it back into the memory card (or so I thought!!) for uploading onto my PC at home. However this picture now always appears in any batch of photos which I upload from the camera even though I have deleted all pictures on the memory card many times. I guess its somewhere in the camera memory but not sure how to find it and the manual doesn't help.

Any ideas?? :h?:

Try doing a CF-card format in the camera: on my CP4500, the procedure would be to view an image, press menu in that mode, and choose the right menu-point. Warning: will erase all images, including those that are locked, which I assume that the camera sees this image as.

Yes. I ALWAYS format my cards after transferring the images. I've had cards become corrupted in the past but have yet to have that happen when I consistently do a fresh format.

I simply copy all files to the harddrive and then format. Its simple and fast and you get a brand new FAT every time you format.
