Hi, Mods!!! :hi:

I have no time for research but I've found this not linked to Opus

I thought the "Collocalia vanikorensis" was Uniform Swiftlet, but maybe I'm not updated if had been any taxonmy change. Anyway, I leave this "hint" for you to sort out and maybe it's new to Opus... and it's not that easy to have so good pictures of Swiflets!

It's certainly not a Uniform Swiftlet anymore, I guess it's a Grey Swiftlet (Phillipine split from Uniform aka Island), but I have to check that first.

I'll keep an eye here to know the final result... I'm intrigued about what's the situation of this species nowadays!

The picture is a Grey Swiftlet (at least I hope so....) which is by some authorities considered to be a subspecies of Uniform Swiftlet (aka Island Swiftlet).
The swiftlets in general are not only difficult to separate but also a taxonomic problem, still waiting to be solved...
