Hi everyone,

my Dad is going birding on Sheppey next week, probably Monday, have you got any advice on where to go to see a good selection of birds.

He's planning on Elmley but where else is good at this time of year?

Is Shellness any good?

Thanks for your help.

The raptor view point along the Harty Ferry road is also worth a possible visit. Those would be my first choices for a visit to Sheppey. I hope the weather will be kind.

Regards

My first choice would be Shellness on the rising tide followed by Capel Fleet 15.00 hrs onwards. I would ignore Elmley at this time of year as it can be very hard work for precious little reward.
