Hi All
I'm going to be in Kent tomorrow and not far from the Richard's Pipit by all accounts.

Having not visited this area before, Could anyone offer advice as to where to park and which area's to search etc?

The location is just listed as "Shell Ness/Swale NNR, Sheppey" can anyone be a little more exact with any details please?

Thanks in advance.
James

If you drive to Leysdown-on-Sea and then keep following the road around the coast, passed the football pitches and keep going you will come to an unmade road. Drive to the end of this road where there is a car park. Park there and walk out West (or to the right as you approach the car park) along the bund. It will probably jump up and fly away at some point and you'll here it call. If you keep walking, you will come to the hide which overlooks the area where up to 130 WF Geese can be seen (sometimes with a Bean thrown in for good measure). Keep an eye out for the Hooded Crow as well which has been seen recently in the area.

Cheers,

Andy M
