Seems to be a Peregrine,presumably of the race calidus.I know that northern European Gyrs are grey,but they shouldn't show such a well-defined head pattern as this.

Definitely a Peregrine Falcon, but i do not think any race can be stablished in such a dark photo.

I presumed it was of the race calidus based on where the photo was taken,not on any visible details!
