Hello! So glad I have found this site! Tons of great info! 
Is there something that blackbirds like to eat specifically? They are cleaning out my feeders-shelled peanuts, suet, the whole gamut. I use a quality no-mess seed blend, and its getting expensive! I will gladly give them their own feeder if it will keep them out of the expensive seed! I have sunflowers planted in the garden, but it will be a month or so till they are ready for consumption.
What type of feeder do mealworms require? They gross me out, but I want to attract more species, so time for me to get over it!
Lastly (for now), is it too late to attract orioles in the midwest? (ohio) I saw a pair for the first time last week, but have not seen them since. Were they just passing through? And do they prefer nectar/citrus fruits?
