I caught a few quick pics of this bird in a tree across the street this morning. The sighting was in a suburb of Rochester, NY (western NY). I'm a newbie, but it's not like anything I've seen so far.

Wondering if someone with more experience can help me with an ID.

Thanks, everyone. Robin just didn't seem right to me because of the season and I could only see it from the back. The upside is that even though it's common, it's my first for the year. Appreciate your expertise.
