Marsh Harrier Breeds in Cheshire (1 Viewer)

It is good news but perhaps the journalist ought to research the birds a little better. They're not as migratory as the article suggests, they might not even leave the UK.
Those that do may stay in Europe, the BBC website journos aren't always that keen on research.
 
Is the harrier they have used to illustrate the article a marsh harrier. Birdguides used the same photo, so it obviously came with the press release, but it's like no marsh harrier I have ever seen? Any thoughts?
