I will be in Sarasota in mid October for a few days. Does anyone know a good site (or some good sites) for Florida Scrub Jay there? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Generally, Oscar Scherer State Park is the best known solid population of scrub jays on the west coast area - should be pretty reliable to find them. It's south of Sarasota, around Osprey...between Sarasota and Venice, maybe 12-15 miles south on Tamiami trail.
