Hi all, I am back in Wales after 10 years away, I am looking for info on bird hides and places to bird watch etc in S Wales, mainly around port talbot, neath, swansea and further down.
For day trips, a few hours out to weekends away possibly.
Walking is not easy for me so mainly easy access places would be awesome. I know about Newport wetlands so any other places would be great.

Hi Shrek. Kenfig Pool, Llanelli WWT and Goldcliff are all decent. Forest Farm can be good as well.

Went to Kenfig NNR today just for a look, need to see how long the walk is to the hide ;-)

10 mins tops. Just be careful where you step as there are heaps of irresponsible dog owners down there.
