Please help with this crazy bird!!!! (1 Viewer)

For about 5-6 days, a cardinal has been clattering against our window about 5 or more times a day. We concluded he was trying to fight another male cardinal, but it was really him and he doesn't know. Are we right? I tried to tape objects to the window, and I scare him away so he doesn't hurt himself, but I'm worried about him and my mom said he could get stunned. We have some outside hunter cats and well...yeah. So is there anything I can do??!! Mahalo!

Yep, mistaking his reflection for a rival. One option that can work is to put a picture of a hawk in the window. Otherwise, put a net over the window for a while so he can't get near his reflection; with luck he'll forget about the 'rival' and not return even when you take the net down.
