The theme for August 2008 is Birds in Flight.

We had 73 entries this month from which 30 have been included for members to vote upon.

Please vote for your favourite entry.

Voting will conclude after seven days from today after which each entry they will be moved to it's respective gallery forum.

I was struggling to make my mind up between two of the entries, so one could be picked in my own mind.

They are all as good as each other IMHO

What excellent pictures everyone!:t::t: I can't decide which one to vote for. I will look at them all again later and make up my mind. I wish I could do flight shots like these but I can't. My hat goes off to all of you.:clap::clap:
 
A fantastic set of shots this month and a really difficult choice.
As usual I expect my vote will not be towards one of the top three.

The winners are -

The theme this month was 'Birds in Flight'

From 73 very good entries 30 were selected for inclusion in the voting booth for members to select their favourite entry. 118 members cast their vote.

Voting was again pretty close for most of the way through but in the last few days one entry edged a little ahead of the rest of the field.

First place goes to

tom melton with Leucistic red kite which attracted 13/118 votes.

Second place -

johnnyoxygen with feeding whitethroat which attracted 10/118 votes.

Third place was a tie both attracting 9/118 votes.
