Northern Cardinal Behavior (1 Viewer)

Hello everybody,
I recorded this video on July 17 of this year, about 7:00 pm, in northeast Mississippi. (Just now thought of asking you about it :) ) Is this kind of behavior normal with cardinals? I have never seen anything like it. Why does the female flutter her wings so, and why can't she feed herself? The pair continued doing this for several minutes; I had to shorten the video so I could attach it here.

There are 2 possibilities:
1. Male feeding fledgling
2. Male feeding female ("courtship feeding"). Many species of birds engage in this with the female begging for food in much the same way as a fledgling would.

It's hard to be sure about the age of the bird being fed from the video, but it looks more like a fledgling to me than an adult female.
