The spoonbills are courting at Lake Martin, Louisiana, and thousands of Great Egrets are working on their nests. Here is the story of my weekend trip:

Lake Martin is near Lafayette -- Acadiana country. Beautiful in the spring.
 
Yes, I have to say that Lake Martin is awesome!!! There will be a lot of picture taken there in the gallery as soon as I come back from Texas...
