Hi all,

Both these gulls were photographed last week off
the coast of San Diego. I think 1st year Westerns.

Hi Lou,
the first photograph actually shows a California Gull.
Note white breast patch, bluish tibia, thinner bill with advanced colour (and even a hint of red on gonys already).
