Brightest 8x30/32 Roof? (1 Viewer)

Maven B3, hands down. It will stand right in with a good 8x42. That is a big reason why I bought it in the first place.

In your experience, what has been the brightest roof prism 8x30 or 8x32 binocular you've handled?

Assuming excellent image quality, of course.

Swarovski 8X32 SV (original Swarovision model). Very bright during daylight hours and truly incredible for stargazing.

The three brightest 32mm roof's are going to be the Zeiss FL, Swarovski EL and the Nikon EDG II in that order because they have the best glass and coatings and they are probably the three best roof's available. A 32mm is generally going to be brighter than a 30mm if it is of the same quality. The EL has the advantage of sharper edges but it shows more glare than the other two. The Nikon EDG and the Zeiss FL usually have smoother focuser's than the EL with the EDG having the best focuser I have seen on a binocular. Any of the three are sensational it depends on what your priorities and preferences are.
