Perhaps you could let more Canadian birders know about birdforum.net!
Yve_M said:Oh, Tammie you are having a brutal winter. We just received a good dumping of snow so keeping the feeders cleaned off has been a chore this week. All the snowmobilers are sure smiling - have you been out sledding lately?
Michael, snowdrops!, snowdrops! Makes me cry.
Piglet - I saw a great gray a few days ago about 150 km. South of here hunting along the highway. We have a resident pair around here too but I haven't seen them for months now. Hope you get your lifer.
Gaga said:Where are all the Canadian birdwatchers? I just found that forum (I should say those forums), it's great!
Carson said:There are a few of us around, Gaga. I'm in Vancouver too, making lots of trips to Reifel these days. Lots of birds around, but I sort of envy those in sub-zero temperatures 'cause I'll bet you guys see STARS at night, and all those other neat things the comfy city takes away! I lived for years in Alberta and the Rockies. Vancouver is nice, and it's mild, but it is maybe a bit bland and gray. I still like it, though.
