Gull Redesmere Chehire (1 Viewer)

I am struggling with this one, anyone any ideas.
It had yellow legs but could not get a photograph showing this.

it's a herring gull. bulk and strong legs suggest nominate argentatus.

Crikey... you got x-ray eyes Lou? i'm struggling to see the legs through the water ;):-O

Would agree with argentatus Herring Gull though. Dark upperparts, heavily-streaked head and heavy, insipid-based bill look good.

thanks for the replies. Glad to see its not only me struggling.
it did have yellow legs to add to the hybrid theory
 
The orange orbital ring suggests pure Herring G best to me.

EDIT: I see now that the colour of the orbital ring doesn't seem to exclude the hybrid possibility.
