Where was the picture taken? I only am somewhat familiar with East African Bustards, and this burd doesn't fit the bill.

It was taken in Kruger National Park in Sep.

I agree. Female or juv. Red-crested Korhaan. Neck looks too long for a francolin.

Hi,

Yes, this is a female Red-crested Korhaan (or Bustard if you prefer) Eupodotis ruficrista, a fairly common bird in the Kruger Park.
