What bird table? (1 Viewer)

I'd like to buy a bird table for a friend but she has no lawn or trees so the table would have to be free standing with a base. Id like to get her a modern feeder, perhaps with a water bath and a feeding tray not a traditional wooden table and the ones ive seen seem to be spiked for lawns, any suggestions?

Some sources suggest not having a roof as it prevents birds getting a good look around for predators. However, it helps keep the rain off and MAY prevent crows, pigeons etc.

I'd get one that's easy to clean (removable tray for cleaning).

Caroleanne, 'CJ WildBird Foods' have a modern feeder 'Bird Lodge' that includes table, water dish, seed feeder and a peanut feeder and although it is mounted on a pole, CJs also sell a Pole Stabilising Base so that pole feeders can be used on patios.
