This little bird was flitting around the upper deck of an Alaskan cruise ship I was on last week. I only had my cell phone camera at that moment so the pictures aren't very good. Any ideas?
Thanks.
Another vote for Yellow Warbler, can't think off hand of another wood-warbler species with greenish upperparts, yellow underparts and no wingbars etc. Nice thin well-defined pale fringes to the very dark tertials also, structure also suits Yellow.
I wasn't thinking Yellow Warbler at first because it didn't seem yellow enough. However, comparing the photo to online photos of Yellows confirms it. Also, Yellow is one of only a handful of warbler species in Alaska.
Thanks everyone!
