2 and 6 are white-necked jacobin, 3, 4 are Mangos (Green-throated? no relevant book at the moment) and I believe 1 is Rufous-tailed. No guess on 5.

Fantastic images Mietek!....I'm surprised that no one commented?

Cheers

I actually came back to this thread and was surprised to see that I had not commented on how amazing these photos are, because I could have sworn I *did*. I must have just been thinking about it really hard, haha!

I think the people that *REALLY* appreciate a beautiful photo on this site are usually looking in the gallery, and these aren't in there
:)

Locations are always very important. Here are my takes on this:

1 Cinnamon Hummingbird
2 White-necked Jacobin male
3 Green-breasted Mango fem
4 Mango male
5 I feel it's a Canivet's Emerald but if all that blue is for real I guess it could well be a Crowned Woodnymph.
6 Another male Jacobin

I use Canon 1dx/1dx MII cameras and 300mm f/2.8 IS lens. Shutter speed 1/8000 sec.
I was approximately 3 m away of the birds. The hammers are not so shy.

Regards

Mietek
