Ghost image on ATM 65 HD + 25-50x W? (1 Viewer)

Hi guys,
I'm observing moon and I've noted a ghost image by shifting the moon out of the FOV either on the left or on the right direction. It appears only when a very bright object is out of the FOV by continuing moving the scope on the same direction (only left/right).
Obviously it doesn't matter in the 99,999 % of my observations, but I want to know if somebody have noted this fact yet.
Sorry for my bad english..
Andrea

Andrea,

I too have an ATM65 HD (with 30x W) and have also seen a faint ghost image of the moon outside the FOV.

I assume it is a reflection off one of the prism surfaces but as you say, it is of no consequence.
