Changing video file format of the FZ18. (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

I take videos with my FZ18 sometimes but when I upload to my computer it wont play them because the are .mov files. Is there a way to change what file type the camera saves the videos as or do I have to look for an outside program to convert them myself?

you could install a viewer that would play the movies in the format they have. That may be in the form of a plugin for the viewer you already use, or a stand-alone viewer. I know that I did something like that a while back, but I am not sure where I got the viewer from.

Thanks Niels,

I figured I'd have to do something like that but just wanted to make sure there wasn't a setting on the camera I could change.
