I visited the forum as a guest to pick up some advice on buying a compact pair of binoculars, and have found excellent information. I have Pentax DCF 8x42 WP, but rarely take them out with me, so a smaller pair seems like a good idea.

The best advice is clearly to go and look at some of the candidates, and see how I get on with them.
