Latest update from the BTO: Spurn Migration Festival

BTO is excited to be involved in the inaugural Spurn Migration Festival, taking place this weekend at Spurn Point on Yorkshire’s East Coast. Hosted by Spurn Bird Observatory and Yorkshire Wildlife Trust, in partnership with Birding Frontiers, the weekend will celebrate the wonders of migration through guided migration watches, bird ringing and moth trap demonstrations, illustrated talks and much more. There'll also be opportunities to see the BirdTrack App in action, and ask the BirdTrack Organiser any questions about the system.

there will also be a weekend long Optics demo by Opticron. Located in the perfect spot for visible migration as well as seawatching you will find the Opticron tent next to the Seawatching hide and near the warren at Numpty's Castle
