Wild Wales. (1 Viewer)

A superb programme:t:. Thanks for letting us know Chris.

This week he travelled from Ramsey Island across to Monmouth. Great shots of Goshawk, Hobby, Nightjar, Dipper and loads more. The red squirrel sequence was lovely.

The descent into the cave system at Crickhowell was amazing.

It's such a shame that these programmes only seem to be shown on Welsh television - however, I've got it set to remind me each week.

I thoroughly enjoyed this programme. Some great bird species seen including Dartford warbler. There was a sense that this programme was for birders and there was some excellent film footage. Very well put together.

Thanks Chris, I would have missed this if not for you. If the other two programmes are as good as the first we're in for 3 hours of good telly.

Yes, another superb episode tonight. Great shots of Hen Harriers and a Sand Lizard.

have any short eared owls featured in this programme yet? i think i met a film crew last two winters ago filming for this series.

I'm absolutely gutted. I saw the first episode on iplayer and loved it, I think Iolo is the best wildlife presenter after Chris Packham.
When I went to watch the other two they had all gone from iplayer! :(
Did anyone video the series by any remote chance?

Enjoyed a previous birding programme by Iolo Williams a few years ago, so I'm really pleased he's back on tv because his new series 'Wild Wales' really is excellent. Iolo is certainly among the best wildlife presenters around at the moment, and this series is a model for how a good wildlife programme should be put together. So glad its on the BBC, as they are the best (by far) at producing programmes about wildlife in my opinion. And no adverts.
