Hello,

Is this a great tit or a coal tit please?

Hi

This is one I can do - Great tit :)

Coal tit is smaller, no yellow or blue and has a distinct white stripe to the back of the head!

It does not have much blue, they can be quite varied.

If you can not see colours easily the great tit also has the black stripe down the front of the breast you can see on yours, the coal tit lacks this.
 
Looks like a juvenile bird to me Nobby, the colours are more muted than in the adult (not that helps you much!). Coal Tit would have a second wing bar which should help you.

I do suffer with the colours some what making identification a little harder which is why since working from home, I always keep my camera handy.
