I always make sure I have a look at his article on Saturday morning whilst I'm at work and yesterday's WAS good - and on one of my favourite birds too :t:
 
Cool stuff. Sometimes I try to imagine what I'd make of a Green Woodpecker or Yellow Wagtail, and our other colourful birds, even the Blue Tit, if I wasn't much of an ornithologist. I'd probably think they belong in Africa or South America. There's just no need for them to be so splendid in dreary old Britain!
