Latest from RSPB about Hen Harriers (1 Viewer)

About time. I'm not surprised by any of it - if any progressive grouse estates existed I would have expected them to leap forward with exemplary evidence of good practice in order to be seen to be innocent embracers of the partnership, so the fact that none did clearly indicates none exist.

Now that it is absolutely clear they are all criminal raptor persecutors they can be gone after just as they would expect to treat anything in their way - no quarter.

It speaks volumes about the disingenuous attitude of the grouse shooting industry in this matter that whilst the RSPB bent over backwards to appease them, they turned round and funded Botham's pernicious and duplicitous 'You Forgot about the Birds' campaign whose only aim was to damage the reputation of the society. The pressure must now be on the Hawk and Owl Trust to review their policy which is looking ever more bankrupt.
