"Birdpod" - the weekly Birdwatching Podcast

As some of you may know, I've been getting into this 'Podcasting' lark and have been producing a weekly Birdwatching Podcast.

http://birdpod.webs.com/

Anyhow, I'm realy pleased as to how well this is been going and have just checked out the Daily Podcast Ratings: it's now at 370 in the charts, which means it jumped 2681 places in the last 24 hours!

The best of it is, I don't bother with fancy equipment... okay, so the whole thing's a bit 'rough and ready' but the only equipment I use is my mobile 'phone to record on, which I then edit and upload!

I've even got regular features to each episode:

"Artificial Bird Of The Week" - these are soft toys with 'authentic bird calls' that I use - great collectible wee toys, and the sound each makes is 100% spot on for accuracy!

"Birding News" - news items I find on the www weekly re: birds.

"Bird Jokes" - erm... jokes about birds.

"Have your say" - each week there's a 'theme' to each podcast... listeners are given a link to where they can post comments - had some great feedback.

So all in all it's going really well!
