Yes to the shearwater but the genei, and also your other gull post, the photos are not good enough to be certain.

For #1, I'd say Calonectris borealis (Cory's Shearwater, Atlantic; recently split from Mediterranean Scopoli's Shearwater C. diomedea).

For #2, I think 1st summer Chroicocephalus ridibundus rather than C. genei.

That split depends upon which listing authority you follow - IOC have split it but as far as I know Clements/Cornell/eBird have not.
