Hi, Is there a phone number for the wexford twitter account. Sometimes Irishbirding doesnt receive my sightings as on friday I had what I was 99.9% sure was a montagu's harrier on the south slob near the slurry tanks.
One was spotted today at Tacumshin so i'm wondering if it was the same one.

Regards Gerard.

Honey Pot garden at Hook has had pretty much all its trees felled this weekend. It was getting pretty dark in there I guess!

Reported a garden warbler at Hook on Monday, June 5th to irishbirding.com. This seems to be the only ever June record reported on this website for Wexford! Could that be right??
regards
Paul

Looking at the old Atlas maps, there are breeding (?) records for south Wexford in the 60's-70's:

https://app.bto.org/mapstore/StoreServlet?id=411

(Click on 'Maps' and then move the distribution slider). None in the last Atlas period, but it just be overlooked?

Could be a very late migrant as winds were particularly poor this spring I think. A (singing) bird was seen on Hook a couple of weeks before, but I don't know the exact location.
