Birds around Kalkan (1 Viewer)

Hi All
For those that are interested, whilst this was not a birding trip, I've just returned from the Kalkan area of Turkey with a few interesting sightings;
White-spectacled Bulbul (family units in both Kalkan and Kas)
Blue Rock Thrush (regular around Kalkan, woke me up most mornings singing outside our villa)
Ferruginous Duck (pair in pools at Patara entrance)
Black-eared Wheatear and Rock Nuthatch (brief mountain walk above Islamlar)
Audouin's Gull (at least two around Kalkan Bay)

I also visited in April when I saw Ruppell's Warbler and Finsch's Wheatear around Kalkan and Greater Flamingo, Marsh Sandpiper and Spur-winged Lapwing at Calis Plaji.

I'd be interested in other sightings people have in the area.

Looking forward to the days when trips to the area can be more birding oriented :)

Regards, Salopbirder
