Hello all ventured to Snettisham last week of August for the high tide wader roost, this may sound a stupid question.. but here goes

I know tide dictates were the waders are, All the waders were out to the far West of the reserve at high tide and only visible at distance is this the norm? as years ago I saw them right in front of the old hide

Many thanks
