Norfolk birding (20 Viewers)

Was the marsh reid'd as a blyth's reed? or is the latter different, and thus the third cracking acro on the point today?

In hindsight I think we tried to put a name to the bird too quickly, i was after a norfolk tick further on and views were fleeting! Couple of Dave's best pictures now on twitter @iPteredroma

Went to Narborough last Friday morning for the Marsh Warbler.Had to wait an age for it to show very briefly on a lower branch of a small tree.It did sing a lot but always well hidden in the reeds / undergrowth.

This is all I could manage but very pleased to get a lifer.Has anyone managed a good shot ?

Anything at Cley!

Coming to Norfolk next week for a few days.

Apart from Titchwell which has very useful daily reports, where else is good to go for a variety of birds. I know June is supposed to be the quiet month so would appreciate any insider local knowledge.

Cheers

Read my blog for daily updates for birds in Norfolk and beyond!;)

Cley and Titchwell reserves ALWAYS have birds to be enjoyed and are probably the best two reserves to spend time at when there isn't too much else around:t:
