Kemsies's Red-tailed Hawk (1 Viewer)

Björn Bergenholtz

(former alias "Calalp")
Sweden
Minor addition (I think you can delete the question mark, James) on today's HBW Alive Key entry for:
kemsiesi
Dr Emerson Kemsies (?1905-1970) US ornithologist (subsp. Buteo jamaicensis).
Emerson Kemsies was apparently "born in Cleveland, Ohio, on September 19, 1905," (here, p.250) ...

However; Enjoy!

Obituary of Emerson Kemsies, in The Cincinnati Enquirer, 4 September 1970 (here), ... which also mentioned "his" Buteo jamaicensis kemsiesi.

Otherwise; nothing new.
