Birdguides changes hands (1 Viewer)

Just received an email telling me that Birdguides has been sold to the owners of Birdwatch magazine, Warner Group Publications Plc on May 9th. Wonder how this will affect the birding scene?

I expect it will reduce any criticism of Birdguides from Birdwatch, and reduce non-Birdguides photographers' chances of getting pix in Birdwatch.

Look out also for a clause in Birdguides membership saying that you automatically agree to free use of your photos by Birdwatch.

Cynical, moi?

Luckily I don't have any photos on there but I can imagine this would worry some photographers/birders.
