Hope this is the correct forum, couldn't find anything specific to terrestrial gastropod mollusks.

For some reason on this outing we photographed more than birds, almost anything that would sit still long enough, including this little fellow.

The web, well, can't get past the "it's an evil pest" bit long enough to teach me about them in more specific terms to ID them. ;-p

And like any good birder, I need to know the specifics of what I saw/photographed so I can learn more about the natural world! :)

Assuming it's the same species (probably imported) looks like Garden Snail, Conchu (Helix) aspersum we see here in the UK, where it's also introduced.
