Ebay also has another spring sale through the 26th of March. 20% off certain sale priced items. $50 limit on savings. Click on the Spring Sale banner on their homepage, click on the 'hunting' tab, then search for 'Binoculars'. Enter code word: Prettyday for an extra 20% off of the listed sale price.

I just picked up a Vanguard Endeavor ED II 10x42 on ebay. Vanguard is selling refurbished models directly for $329, but you can make an offer and get them for less. I also had a targeted offer for 15% back in ebay bucks and the Vanguard $80 rebate should apply.

B&H has the Canon 8x25 IS (older IS design) for $270 instead of $400. Today only, it’s one of their daily specials.

Leica Trinovid of 90's vintage has come really down in prices on Ebay, down to 300-400. It was and still is a masterpiece, only incremental improvements have been made since then. Lighter, brighter, better coatings but I haven't seen anything sharper.
I liked 8x42 BA.

To me they have increased in price, sometimes asking for near what they were new. The Leitz prices have come down is what I have noticed.

Quick question: How does one find out about eBay coupons besides checking their website everyday?

Good find .... and it gets better.

Zeiss is offering an instant 10% rebate on the Conquest and SF that is reflected in the website price. In addition, Sports Optics is offering an additional 13% discount code at checkout of SPRING13

Example:
Zeiss Conquest HD 10X42
- Normal price is $999.99
- Zeiss 10% Off Sale Price $899.99
- Price after 13% Checkout Code $782.99
- Free ground shipping
- Also includes a free Zeiss harness, normally $23.79
- 19 in stock

13% code ends April 30, 2018
Zeiss 10% off ends April 23, 2018

The 13% check out also works with Nikon and Vortex.

Example:
Nikon Monarch HG 10X42
- Normal price $996.95
- After 13% checkout code $867.35
- Free ground shipping
- 6 in stock

Note that the SF, some Nikon and some Vortex, such as the new Viper, are shown as out of stock. The discounts may work on a backorder so call to find out and to find out the estimated arrival date.

Red Hawk Rifles has a pair of Swarovski 8x32 EL (32208) for $1,795. I bought a pair of Conquests from them and they were great to deal with. As their name implies they sell hunting optics as well as binos.

Maven

After reading through tons of these posts, reading loads of reviews and doing extensive searching on best deals in binoculars I have purchased Maven B2 9x45's at $1,050, direct from the manufacturer which is the only way to get them. So far, I'd only used Nikon Aculon 8x42's then "upgraded" to Bushnell Legend M 8x42's. The Mavens blow those completely out of the water in terms of light gathering, sharpness of image, magnification and 3D effect. I am no expert reviewer with all the specs but all indications are that these are a match for much more expensive top shelf binoculars. If you get a chance to check them out, do. I finally understand that when my friends told me I couldn't possibly be seeing what they were seeing through my $200 binoculars they wern't just boasting.

I believe you but you'll get more readers if you start a thread about them or post in the "Other Binoculars" sub forum at the top. This thread is for money off deals on any binoculars. And welcome to Birdforum. You'll may get addicted to this place. I tried to leave "but they just kept pulling me back in".

OK. I get it, Black Crow. I was thinking that the Mavens constitute a very significant discount from other optics in their class but you are correct that they are technically not "on sale". It was an impulse post, as I received my first notification from birdforum in quite awhile and just got these new binocs 2 days ago. I'll post in another thread once I've had the chance to use them for a bit.

Cool, there is a thread on those Mavens just started up today. Unfortunately I don't see "on sale" in their future. I'd love to own a Maven.

10% OFF Optics Planet Code RAIN

Optics Planet has a 10% off checkout code of RAIN. it runs from Monday, April 2 12:00 AM  Thursday, April 5 12:00 AM CDT on orders of $50 or more.

It works on some but not all products. I got it to work on Zeiss and Opticron but not Nikon. It couples well with the current instant 10% off on some Zeiss models (Conquest and SF). However the Sports Optics 13% discount (post 3534) is a better deal if the model is in stock.

If you have VIP pricing with Optics Planet, then log in to your account to sometimes see an additional discount on a model. Post 3505.

The annual Cape May Bird Observatory Optics Sale is this weekend. Based on past years they should have some crazy deals there on new stock, discontinued products and 2nd hand items. If anyone is looking for anything in particular or wants me to try out/compare anything then please let me know.

The best deals usually go first thing Saturday morning but there typically still are some nice deals on Sunday as well. This is the first year that the entire weekend will be open to the public. In past years it was CMBO or New Jersey Audubon members on Saturday and general public on Sunday.

Clifton Cameras have a reasonable deal on some refurbished Swaro CL Companions: https://www.cliftoncameras.co.uk/Cli...0155a64531faaa

If I hadn't bought those Kowas last year I'd be very tempted.

Doesn't that apply to just 100 of their products and like 2 or 3 binoculars?
