I have some free time now and wanted to try seeing a Dartford Warbler. Is there a chance in September (I know they're easiest to spot in spring)? Where would you recommend to go looking for them in SE England?

Thanks :)

They are resident and not that skulky, I recalling seeing them at all times of the year.

Thursley Common is usually a good spot, but it was badly hit by fires earlier this year so don't know if that has affected the Dartfords.
