Ovenbird? Confirm ID (1 Viewer)

I take this to be an ovenbird. If so, a first for me -- in river valley in Edmonton.

This is actually a thrush species, which are similar to ovenbirds, but much larger. Seeing that this bird has a very prominent buff eye-ring, or "spectacles", I would say Swainson's Thrush, one of the most common thrushes.

Nice photos!
 
The buffy loral stripe also confirms it as Swainson's. Ovenbird has a plain loral area, a whiter eye ring and that awesome crown pattern...
