Glad to see somebody is doing Sedgley Beacon regularly - this vegetated highpoint stands out from the urban dross and shows that regular coverage at less ‘glamourous’, managed, sites pays off:t:

Rspb, Forge Hill, Hill 60: 07.05-09.30: Hawfinch 2 calling over Marsh followed by 3 shortly after flying South-west. 1 circling over Forge Hill. Redwing c250, Fieldfare 2. Starling C100 west. Chaffinch 15, Redpoll 8, Siskin 4, Meadow Pipit 2. Wood Pigeon 300+ South per Pete Hackett
