hi adrian,

i believe you're right with eastern black-throated although i wouldn't put my hand in fire for it taking in account the difficulties of separating these similar species. some pieds can look surprisingly warm toned. but this one looks better for melanoleuca i guess.

it looks very similar to the Pied Wheatear female which I photographed on 28.09.09 in UAE,
here 2 pictures for compare.

I must admit it looks a bit too dark on the upperparts, verging on cold grey, as well as having very "warm" earcoverts which would suggest Pied to me.
