Upton Warren (11 Viewers)

Visited for a few hours this morning. Apart from seeing Rob and Alan the highlights at the Moors were a single Pintail upending near the western reeds beds and a Little Egret that loitered for a couple of hours.

Cattle Grazing on the Reserve

The Dexter Cattle that we have grazing the reserve may be brought in tomorrow (Fri). The plan is to have them on the Moors as usual & also the Flashes for the first time now the stock fence is done. There is likely to be disturbance as they are brought in so apologies for that.

The Stint & Ringed Plover were flying around just before the Peregrine struck. Looks to me like a poss. LRP juv with them as well.
Peregrine & prey. Leave it to you to say what bird it's taken. The first thought was the Stint but as that showed up about 20 mins later not so.
