Does anyone know if the Pentax SP DCF 10x50 and Pentax ED DCF have intregral tripod mounts built into their design?

Thanks

I have the Pentax DCF SP, and there is a tripod mount at the front of the hinge, the one nearest the objective lenses. (I guess the objective lenses are called the front of bins.) There is a little cap that you unscrew from the front of the hinge. I have unscrewed the cap, but I have not inserted a tripod mount; therefore I do not know how effective or easy-to-use it is.

I have as well the Pentax 8x43 DCF SP and Pentax original adapter for photo tripods. The distance between the barrels is quite close and it may be a bit complicated to install the adapter to the binocular. But it works. Adapters with larger screw than the Pentax adapter will not work.

Regards, Patric
