I spoted a red kite today on the gower , swansea, near kittle egg farm. I was on my way to taking my dog for a walk. It came very close at one point and i had a very good view of it.Anybody know if this is a rare sighting of a red kite on the gower peninsula? Ive been walking on the Gower for over 30 years and i have never seen one before.|=)|

To be honest they seem to be everywhere in S Wales at the moment which is fantastic. I saw one very low over the houses in Penlan about 4 weeks ago. We also get them regularly over our back garden here in Bryncoch.
