I've never visited South Africa but I think
(Madikwe) Orthetrum stemmale young male
(Madikwe 2) Orthetrum stemmale female
(Madikwe 3) Brachythemis leucosticta - Southern Banded Groundling - female (or possibly immature male - a bit tricky to see the appendages clearly)
(Madikwe 4) no idea othern than it's a gomphid
(Madikwe 5) Orthetrum chrysostigma - Epaulet Skimmer - young male
(Madikwe 6) Brachythemis leucosticta - Southern Banded Groundling - female
(Madikwe 7) Brachythemis leucosticta - Southern Banded Groundling - immature male
(Madikwe 8) Brachythemis leucosticta - Southern Banded Groundling - female
(Bloomfontein) Sympetrum fonscolombii - Red-veined Darter - male
(Karoo) Trithemis Kirbyi - Orange-winged Dropwing - male
(Karoo 2) Sympetrum fonscolombii - Red-veined Darter - immature male

The first three Kogelberg pics are all orthetrums but there are quite a few similar looking species of which I have zero field experience.

Hope that helps
