I have a pair of 8x42 Bausch&Lomb Elites that I purchased in 1999. They have gotten near constant (ab)use over the last 10 years, and I am very happy with them as my primary binocular. However, there is now a problem with the focusing wheel, which tends to become very stiff and lock up, especially in cold weather. Does anyone have any advice as to where to send them for repairs? Should I contact B&L directly, and who?
The original eyecups are also pretty cracked and I would like to replace them, I saw that there is an earlier thread on BF covering this issue.
thanks for any help!
