Finding Leica Trinovid 10x42 replacement caps? (1 Viewer)

As the title states. The OEM caps fell off and I am left looking for replacements. The caps are the 42mm covers, btw (which with surrounding material are over 50mm). Are there any common household caps that are the same size?

2 inch astro eyepieces have front caps about 51mm internal diameter.

Small camera lens caps might fit and are available as generics, although some clip internally on the thread if the Trinovid has threads.

I would give Leica service a call, they may just send you a pair gratis.

Good luck, and let us know how it turns out.
